has anybody tried this on their Tab S, SanDisk Extreme Plus 128GB UHS-1/U3 SDXC Memory Card

i contacted samsung but was told that they have not tested this on this tablet so i was hoping somebody else tried it here. thanx to all that reply

Since the tab supports up to 128GB, and since U3 is fast enough for 4k video, there's no reason it shouldn't work well. (The reason Samsung won't suggest using it is that they want to sell their own SD cards. You won't get that kind of 'attitude' from SanDisk. And if you have a problem [or a question - ask them if they've tested the card with the tab], there's a live chat - with people who really know what they're doing - at SanDisk microSD Tech Support.)

BTW, Samsung and SanDisk are the only manufacturers of the chips inside those cards - everyone else buys chips from them.
