I tried to transfer photos from my Samsung Galaxy Tab S SD Card to my PC through a USB connection but lost them. The original folder structure on the SD Card was: SD Card > Photos > "Photos Monday", "Photos Tuesday", etc.
These are the steps I took:
1. Connected Tab S to computer with USB lead.
2. Opened SD Card folder "Photos" on Tab S on desktop.
3. Created new folder "Photos D" within SD Card folder "Photos".
4. Moved all folders containing photos to folder "Photos D".
5. Dragged & dropped folder "Photos D" to desktop.
When I opened the folder on the desktop the photos had disappeared:
On the tablet, in SD Card > Photos, all the folders, "Photos Monday", "Photos Tuesday", etc are still there but are empty.
On the desktop, in "Photos D", all the folders, "Photos Monday", "Photos Tuesday", etc are there but are empty.
Where are they and can I retrieve them.
I just asked this question in the free question area and dpham00 suggested do a search using Windows Explorer for *. Jpg. I did this search on both the tablet and the PC but did not find the photos.
Any further help would be appreciated.
