    Default Unfortunately, settings have stopped.

    Every time I Star up my Tab S, I get a notification that "Unfortunately, settings have stopped." My only option is Ok. I doesn't seem to affect anything, Settings open when selected. It happens from a cold boot as well as a re-start. Anyone else running into this.

    Did this start happening recently?
    You can try wiping the cache partition on your device to see if it resolves the issue. This guide is for the S4, but it is the same for the Tab S

    I had this issue. I had my S8.4 set so all downloads go to the SD card. Then the "Settings Stopped" appeared. As soon as I changed it to downloads going to internal drive, this notice was gone.

    How did you set the downloads to go to the SD card?

    It has been like this from the start. I have cleared the cache, thinking that might cure it, but it did not. It's not a big deal, but is a little annoying for a new system .

    "How did you set the downloads to go to the SD card?"
    Connections, Nearby devices, Download to-Device, or SD card.
