Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and USB adapter

Has anyone tried, or know if the Micro USB to full USB adapter works with the Tab S?

According to this thread on XDA, yes. With an OTG cable, not just a USB-to-USB adapter. (The difference in $40 name brand OTG cables and $2 Chinese OTG cables is the logo. The 1/4" piece of wire that turns it into an OTG cable is the same. The manufacturers don't use $38 "better" wire.)
