Wifi problem after Lollipop Update

I updated mine to Lollipop the other day and ever since the wifi disconnects periodically and I have to turn wifi off and then back on again to get it to work. And the weird thing is that it still is connected to a wifi network, but it just can't access anything until I turn it off/on again.

Has anyone else had this problem? I even did a factory reset and it still does it, although not as badly anymore I don't think.

I do not know if it is the same thing but, I cannot connect to certain wifi sources (uverse modems) after the update. I put in the credentials for the wifi, it initially connects , says device is connected, and then drops the connection. I have also have a Netgear router and it connects to it without a problem.
Prior to the update it connected to all wifi sources without a problem.
