How do you get a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 out of safe mode?

I have tried turning it off and restarting it and then holding the volume button down, but it is still in safe mode. I even tried to factory reset and it is still in safe mode. Does anyone know what else I can try?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you recall if you were having any problems with your volume buttons? It's possible the Volume Down button contact is stuck on, and to boot into Safe Mode, you have to hold Volume Down after the Samsung logo appears. So even though you're not pressing it, the tablet may think you want to boot into Safe Mode each time.
