SomaFM and Lollipop don't mix

I listen to SomaFM at work. On my Galaxy Tab 4 (running KitKat) I can listen to it in any browser. Any at all. On my Galaxy Tab S2 (running Lollipop) the only browser that I can use to listen to it is Firefox. All browsers will go there, obviously, but only Firefox has sound. I'm sure this is the sort of thing that 99% of the people don't do, but I would be interested in understanding why this is There's nothing I can search online for. Any thoughts? Anyone else want to see how it goes for them? I know there's an "app" which I ended up having to get, but it isn't very good and I preferred using the browser.
