I'm thinking about buying the Galaxy Tab S2 or S3 for a research project.
Apart from the better front cam, the S3 has a stylus. My intention is to do touch pressure sensing.
Is it possible to read out the pressure from the stylus (how much pressure the user applied to the stylus)?
Second, I think the S2 does not have force touch but the Android API provides the ability to get the touch pressure (derived from the fingerprint area). Does this work for the S2 and S3? I have read that for some devices it does not work (just returning meaningless values). Is this measure more accurate for the S3 than for the S2?
