I have the Sprint Galaxy Tap (3G isn't activated). It seems to have issues with typing. Often, but not always, when I type it underlines the letters as I go and then duplicates them. For example, If I wanted to type the word "Friend" it would come out looking like

FrFriiiienenennd

Very frustrating. The only way to prevent this is to type with at 2 second space between letters. Its as if it is trying to auto correct as I type. This happens with all of the keyboards I've used.

I'm thinking that a Firmware update is what I need, but without the 3G activiated it won't let me do it. I'm currently on 2.3.4 on hardware version P100.08.

Thoughts?
