600,000 like a week ago and now 1,000,000? Wow, looks like they had to readjust their estimates to 1.5 million. Good stuff. This means more accessories and software tailored for the Tab.

I don't like Tablets. In fact, I can't find any usage scenario that a smartphone or a netbook isn't a better choice. Yes, I'm sort of a Luddite.

That being said, even i can see that for those who DO like tablets, the Tab is a solid choice and a good performer, and had they followed their competitors model of releasing the WiFi only version first, would probably have sold 2 million. Congrats to Samsung.

@gbhil, I got agree w/ you on making a wifi only version. They could have sold that many or more. I know i was turned off by the 3g version simply cause I did not want to pay for that service or be locked into a contract. I did end up getting one from Ebay that had been on sprint for a few months so I didn't have to worry about getting into a contract. I have 2 macs, ipad, ipod and iphone and i love this tab.

This thing is super fast and has alot of neat features. Plus it already has alot of the same apps I use on the ipad and iphone.

If they had the cell phone like the European verison, they would have sold more also.
