I saw a previous thread stating the wifi calling didn't work on the Tab. I installed Google Voice on it, but for some reason it keeps trying to use my cell phone number instead of my Google Voice number.

1. Does SMS work on the Tab through Google Voice?

2. Is there a way I can configure Google Voice to use my Google # instead of my cell phone #?

2. Did you add your Tab's number to your GV account? When you do, Google will try to verify it by calling it...a call you'll never get, of course, so just ignore that. But the Tab's number has to be one of your GV numbers.

I've tried setting up GV on my tab but the call to my tab won't complete. I've tried setting it up on the tab and through the GV website, but with negative results.

There is no setup. You just add your Tab's number to your GV account and ignore the verification step. Then you install the GV app on your Tab and start using it to send SMS.

You're not trying to use the standard SMS app, are you?
