CDMA tab with GSM ROM

So I'm wondering if the Sprint CDMA tab could have a GSM rom. The thing is, I will not sign up for Sprint service, as I am an AT&T customer, and I wouldn't even sign up for their data plan. I want to use this as a wifi only device. Since the hardware is almost the same, aside from the radios, would it be possible to flash a GSM rom to a CDMA device if used as wifi only?

Yes but read up on it as I don't know anything more than that.
