if your have issues with the update not finishing 100% this will work

or

download the zip using heimdall flash like normal
factoryfs-factoryfs.rfs
zimage-zimage
param.ifs-param.ifs
cache-cache.rfs
recovery-zimage
ignore the rest of the files

then before first boot wipe data and cache reboot
manually use update.zip or just let it download itself
install update and your done
you can verify by going to "about device" build number will be SCH-I800.EC02
use superoneclick for root z4mod not working keep getting f/c's

it seems like anybody who used z4mod to root or flashed recovery "back to stock" is having problems a 100% fix is just download the files from my post and flash like normal then use superoneclick for root

the files in my post are created using a temp. root so the files are a pure clone of unrooted rom 100% stock that is why you have to use superoneclick to root I tried everything and have done this to 6 tabs with no errors

i get "Failed!" message on Heimdall when i try doing this. im pretty sure im doing everything right, we're supposed to be in download mode for this right? i made sure the drivers were installed. last time i flashed back to stock after bricking my gtab it worked just fine. im not sure what's going wrong here.

i just tried it again and this time i got "failed to access device. Error: -12"

finally got everything to flash...but it STILL did not work. i get to the part where i try to manually use update.zip and it starts but then almost instantly gives me the "!" inside the symbol and reboots...what am i doing wrong? im following these directions to the T and still its not working. in fact im worse off now than i was because now i have to put all my stuff back on it. can you help?

FINALLY i got it to work! it gave me the install update prompt and IT WORKED! thanks

As a tip to others... I found out the hard way that the Error: -12 happens when you forget to update the Heimdall drivers with zadig. Run zadig (from the Heimdall "drivers" folder) after a download connection has been established with the device but before trying to flash the files. On the zadig menu bar choose "options" and then "List All Devices" and then, in the drop-down box, choose the one that mentions the Samsung USB composite device" (or something close). Then close Zadig, and start the flash.
