Ok, I have a rooted, wifi only Galaxy Tab. In an attmept to enable the ability to use wireless tether with my Epic 4G, I folloawed a video step by step on how to replace the wpa_supplicant file. Now, not only am I unable to connect with the phone, I cant connect on my wifi either!. It says "error" after trying to connect. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm dead in the water :-(

I will admit I am not familiar with the Samsung GT (considering one) but why not just root the Epic 4G and add wireless tether on it to create a mobile hot spot instead of the other way around. In either case I would also cross post over at XDA-Developers to seek help restoring your file. Both XDA and AC are the key sites to getting good answers.

No, thats what I did. But the Tab needs a patch to allow the wireless tether to connect. Thats where I screwed up...I think. I dunno. I'll probably just have to buy a new one. :-[
