So I have had this phone for 2 days. I have to say I am very impressed, this reminds me of a little version of the Galaxy S III. Not to mention this has a 4" screen with a 2100 mAh battery! My battery life is incredible, I'm averaging about 20 hrs with heavy use. If you have used an SIII you will feel right at home.

I have a question. I have read that the galaxy victory is missing a 3.5 headjack some where place (don't remember where) is it true?

My wife is due for her upgrade and with Sprint's loyalty special they have now, it will be FREE after the $50.00 rebate.
Looks like I will be partaking of that deal.
Can't beat it.

The phone was totally FREE with upgrade after Thanksgiving so I got one for the wife.
Going to activate it for her today. :)

Just wanted to say that I picked this device up yesterday from Virgin Mobile and am very impressed with its features and overall very satisfied. Excellent screen resolution, camera, and sound quality, as well. Although, I own a Verizon Droid Razr Maxx HD, I got this to use as my secondary line. "I Retrained my Brain". :p

This is an amazing phone for the price, performs better than the S2, and can be made to perform almost on par with the S3!

For the VirginMobile model, you can root, install the stock firmware deodexed and de-bloated, and a custom uncapped kernel, and you basically have a small screen S3:
