when using predictive text autocomplete everything i type disappears

For example, let's say i'm texting you or maybe just updating my facebook status. And occasionally I use the predictive text to complete my words. Then suddenly about the 3rd time I use the autocomplete, all my work disappears (except for a few letters), and of course it's unsaved because I was in the middle of working on it. Makes me SO mad. Using this as an example, So, it would suddenly change for no reason to this.
