I took a screen shot of the digital barcode from my starbucks app, cropped it, emailed it to myself, and plugged my watch into the computer with a compatible USB cord connected to the watch charging cradle. I enabled usb debugging mode in settings:about gear on the watch. Once connected to the pc, I opened the email, downloaded the barcode pic to the desktop, then dragged it into gear's photo/gallery folder. I opened up the gallery on my watch, touched the barcode pic, it enlarged to fit the screen and could be scanned perfectly at Starbucks. Of course I'll need to refresh the balance later on my actual phone (barcode is matched to the card number and doesn't change, hence it can be reused quickly now that it is in the gallery). What a lot of work, though simple, for a dang watch that should already have a lot more apps! Come on tizen/samsung/whoever! The moto 360 and LG is looking better by the day!
