    Default Gear 2 shipping/receiving experience?

    I ordered a Gear 2 on May 12. I received an email from Samsung stating that I would receive shipping information including a tracking number within 48 hours. I have not received either and the 48 hours was up early yesterday morning.

    I logged into my Samsung account, it still shows preparing for shipment and I haven't received any other email advising me of any delays.

    This doesn't make me real happy and husband (the comedian wannabe) isn't helping by asking me every time he calls when my **** Tracy watch is going to be here

    Just wondering what experience others have had on shipping and receiving time when ordering a Gear 2 from Samsung?

    I prefer to use amazon prime. The watches came in 2 days

    I guess I should have specified better. I'm interested in the experiences when ordering directly through Samsung. Thanks though!

    Sorry. I understood your first post, but just thought I'd throw it out there that there are better alternatives than dealing directly with Samsung. Good luck.

    Well they're about to lose my order all together if I don't hear something today. If they're out of stock or back ordered or whatever the case might be the least they can do is drop an email to let people know. What they don't know about me is that I don't *need* this product, I can do without it.

    LOL! I'm sure that none of us NEEDS a smartwatch, but they are kinda cool. I can't imagine how much better they will get in the next year or two. If they can improve battery life by a lot, then we should be able to enjoy a SIM enabled smartwatch, removing the need for a cell phone to be nearby.

    This may not be useful at all, but sometimes when I have done online ordering from a new vendor I have received the initial email receipt, but the second (shipping) notice has gone to my spam (bulk) mail box. If you haven't checked there, you may wanna look. Otherwise I would contact the customer service # (hopefully provided in your first email) and have them check the status of your order number. I would be extremely frustrated. Best of luck.

    I think my husband is more excited than I am waiting for my **** Tracy watch as he puts it.

    The problem I always have when I have to wait for something like this after a few days I wonder why I ordered it in the first place because I'm so darn cheap and it isn't something I absolutely need.

    I can get it on amazon.com for $10 cheaper and free shipping it would probably get here hole lot quicker that way. But I wanted to use the Bill Me Later option because then I get 6 months interest free to pay for it. Amazon doesn't have that.

    Got tired of waiting and just cancelled my order. If anyone is looking to order directly from Samsung I suggest you order it elsewhere.

    Clicked over to amazon.com found it for $284 and change they offered a Spigen screen protector 3 pack with it total price $294 and change. Because I been waiting a week just to hear from Samsung I decided to splurge and use my points and I'm getting tomorrow delivery. Total cost about $10 less this way including the one day delivery.

    Interesting: the gold one is $285 while the stainless one is still $300.

    Oh I knew I could do it another way, I just really wanted to be able to use the Bill Me Later option which Samsung offers. It not be so strange as you might think that the rose gold price is discounted. When I bought my note 3 I got a big discount when I chose the rose gold color for my phone. I wasn't sure I was going to like that color but once it got here oh yeah baby i love it!

    I can only guess that the rose gold color doesn't sell as well as the other colors do and that's why they discount them.

    I got the rose gold for my wife--it was $300 (the first day they became available at Amazon)

    We both do. I originally was going to get it but it wasn't available so I got the stainless. A few days later Amazon got in the rose gold, so I ordered it immediately. She totally loves the color. I have a rose gold watch and it's pretty similar in color, but not an exact match. Both of those watches' colors are very nice, IMO.
