Can't reply using voice to text messages

Hey everyone. Today i tried to respond to someone on my watch to a text message and i got the pop up saying "please connect to a network". When I am at home connected to wifi it works fine but when I go out of a wifi zone it won't work. I can still phone people using the watch app. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Got the Samsung s5 and yes its stock text
