"Unable to view emails in other accounts" error

So fairly recently I've switched back to my Galaxy S4, which was upgraded to Lollipop. I'm not sure exactly if this is "since then" or earlier, but the Gear 2 only allows me to view emails in my main (Exchange) account. When I tap the email address on the gear to try to bring up my 2 IMAP accounts, I get the error:

"Unable to view emails in other accounts."

I've ensured that the email notifications are turned on and all email addresses are selected for notifications in Gear Manager. Anyone else seen this? I haven't tried a factory reset yet.

Update: factory reset did not fix. Maybe an incompatibility between Gear Manager and IMAP email boxes in Lollipop?
