Gear Fit 2 - No Messages/Incoming calls/ Whatsapp

Hi there - Just grabbed Fit 2 from Bestbuy last night. My first Samsung wearable so a newbie to Gear manager. I went to the notification and unchecked all the apps so I get notifications on my gear fit 2 for all of them but I don't recive calls/messages/whatsapp texts etc. What do you think it could be??

if you unchecked all the apps then maybe thats why its not working?

Yah, the interface description is counter intuitive. You need to check the one's you want the notifications from.

The notifications setting clearly states "select which notifications will be shown on your gear". If that is counter intuitive, it says a lot about the state of the world.
