Verizon price drop but you have to wait...

Back ordered until 12/9. The verizon variant is $249 on contract now. Much better than the $350 on contract they offered when the watch was released. $5 a month plan if you aren't on an older unlimited plan.

Just wanted to share for those on the fence don't know if this is a cyber Monday deal continued from a black Friday special or what.

The Verizon variant is $249 on contract now.

This was the price in store on Black Friday. I couldn't believe it had dropped $100 since the time I first saw it a couple days before that. I got that price and a 10% discount and the activation fee waived. I originally wanted white but they didn't have any...hence the discount on the black Gear S.

I bought mine outright and added it to my data plan at a Verizon store for $400 two days ago. Do I quality for any discount or did I just get shafted?

Same. I ordered mine Saturday by phone for $399 plus s$35 activation charge. Did get free overnight fedex.

Through my job, I work for Comcast and they have a partnership with Verizon Wireless. The deal was if if by a new wireless mobile device I get a $200 visa card. I have the postcard at home but I'm not there. I'll post it when I get there. Had to by the watch on a contract, price was $250 dollars, $5 a month for phone service. So it's like getting the watch for $50 dollars.

Why pay $400 outright when the device could have been purchased for $249 on contract with the whole 2 years would ony cost you $120 more? Even with a contract, the watch costs less than buying outright.

Got mine last night at VZW Store. 249.00 added to my plan for 5.00 per month.
