I do not have my watch right now, I will post a picture as soon as possible.
The ambient screen is something very minimalist, corresponding to the hour & date in the center. I prefer not to put too much design in ambient mode

This seems to be common among the developers. However, I've found that I look at the watch far more in ambient mode than I ever look at the actual watch face. I think the ambient mode should be the first consideration when building a new watch face. I know it is for me when choosing one.
