can't remove screen protector

Hi I've had a screen protector on my watch since day one and I just had to change it because it got cracked. Well any way I took off the old screen protector and was ready to put new one on and I can't remember what it looks like without one but for some reason it looks like I have one on but I can't take it off. If you use your fingernail from the bezel and slide there is another layer like a sceen protector but I can't take it off. Is that how it is?

Maybe it came with a plastic layer protecting it when you bought it and you didn't notice. So, what is still there is that. I've seen, on purchasing some things, that the screen protector they come with to avoid scratches or scuffs is so thin and clear, it's easy to overlook for awhile.

Are you sure its not glue residue from the old shield? I have shields on both of mine so can't test. Do you have a magnifying glass?
