Samsung Pay - can't add a second card

The first credit card was fine and accepted. When I went to add a second card I get the message, "Gear not responding. Try again". Any suggestions?

Well I think the 2nd card. Weds to be on the phone first, then added to the watch. I only have one card on mine (others aren't eligible with Samsung Pay)

I have two cards on my S6 Edge phone, have had for a long time. But on the Gear S2 I can't add the second card. Oh well. At least I have the card I use the most on it. Now getting it to work might be another matter. I tried yesterday at the grocery store it it didn't work. But then again, I have had my phone not work either at that store. Most of the time it does work there. I will just try again the next time.

Duh, I feel stupid. I was trying to add a card that isn't supported. Successfully added a second card using a supported card.
