Hi all,

So i managed to smash the screen on my phone and cant access it anymore. Its still connected to my s3 frontier though so i can make calls and text.

My issue is that ive got the s3 paired with activation lock on. If a reset the watch apparently i have to connect to the same phone.

Anyone know of options to turn the reactivation lock off?

I'm not sure on this but I think when you pair the watch to a new phone via Samsung Gear app, it will ask for your Samsung accounts credentials to disable activation lock. But like I said, I'm not 100% sure on this.

You can also still use your phone with the smashed screen via USB using SideSync on your PC. It'll let you see the screen on the computer and use the keyboard/mouse to manipulate it, even input your PIN/Password/Pattern to unlock the device. That way you can unpair the watch, and most importantly, back up what you have in your phone.
