I don't. I get all the functionality and notifications I need while remotely connected and my battery life is better for both.
If I have BT on at home I'm constantly leaving and entering range, using more battery to reconnect frequently then just using the LTE. If I need BT it's easy enough to connect then turn it off when I'm done.
I leave BT off and cellular always on. Battery consumption under BT is considerably less than under cellular. But I don't want it automatically switching back and forth because remotely connected (vs standalone) mode is a little flaky.
