Stuck @ "Ready" trying to update

So as the title says, I read the .pdf files that gave you instructions, I also came on here to find a solution but neither of the ones answered my questions.

So I'm stuck at the "Start Download"

It says read at the lower left side corner. and nothing... it's not going. I don't know how long you have to wait until it starts downloading but it's been 5 mins and nothing.

Any solutions?

just to clarify--
are you using the SWUpdated downloaded from a website (assuming Sprints software page)?

and your phone is recognized by the computer (not just charging--but actually Mounted and seen as a USB-Device) and you're in the "remove battery, hold down these buttons, replace battery, hold down these buttons, connect cable" phase?

Moment's have a glitchy Driver situation--i've gone through 2 that wouldn't keep the driver software on the unit to upload to a computer when connected--so i couldn't manually update my software. i hadto get a new one from a sprint store, preloaded with 2.1
