Default Messaging App - SMS to email = Picture Mail

I communicate via text with several people that are sitting at their desks with Outlook open.

They send me a text by shooting an email to <mynumber>@messaging.sprintpcs.com, and I can simply reply to their text and it returns as an email.

With the Moment, if I reply to a text, it returns to the sender at an HMTL Sprint Picture Mail. Is anyone else experiencing this? I tried Handcent & ChompSMS and it does the same thing.

This is a big stepback in how I communicate.

I find this as well and also quite annoyed by it. Anyone have a hero? Does it do the same thing.

Looking for a setting so I can change this behavior.

Regarding the Hero, the default Messaging app works fine. If you install a 3rd party sms app like Handcent or ChompSMS, you're back to receiving Picture Mail replies.

This app will forward your incoming texts to your email address, and if you reply, it will sync it to your phone, and other person will get a text from your number!
