Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
I haven't tried yours because I've been in the middle of testing 0.3. Did you do anything different or have to try anything extra when you deodexed? I'll give it another go, but if apps started force closing again then it won't be officially for awhile.
EDIT: Have you uploaded your re-sized recovery image anywhere? I'm interested in trying that out.
EDIT 2: Just dumped my younger brother's stock FA19 Replenish with CWM5 so I can get you all back on stock, should you ever want or need too. I now have stock dumps of Sprint and Boost models.Last edited by firehak; 03-06-2012 at 07:54 PM.

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
So let me get this straight, I have a boost mobile replenish with GB.EK03. I gather I have to wait till .3 comes out to install this rom?? Is anyone out there working on a simple (one click) Root?? Or is the Gingerbread so tight its unable to be rooted? (as of now)
Sorry Im pretty new to this.
Also with this ROM installed, will it help clear up memory space on these lower level boost phones. The last one I had, Samsung Prevail, I had to partition my sdcard to maximize my app memory. Should i do the same for this Replenish??

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
If you update, it would be highly appreciated if I could get the dump of the update.zip file itself and a dump of the completed installation. I may have to release 0.3 without animations again. I've still not had any luck and haven't had a reply from anyone else in ACS.

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
I'm going to try deodexing again, but if it doesn't work on first try it isn't going into 0.3 officially. But, yeah. Boot animations just would have been nice to have. All that's left for me to do is get a Boost tester and make the video cast showing me install it. (Because too many people failed to follow exact instructions, some even installing on other phone models.. I gave in to the video idea.)

Deodexed would be awesome. Finally got my gf's replenish running 0.2 and the new kernel. Would love to port a theme I'm working on for my ET4G for this phone/rom too. Does anyone know if there's an updater script/zip for this phone that would work for a theme? (Not sure how to make a replenish theme zip, maybe same updater script I use for my et4g?) Or maybe I should just wait til something's deodexed. Been wanting to theme her phone lol...

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
firehak, i have a boost replenish that i believe is stock. The only thing i have done is try to install a root, but it wasnt for GB and didnt work. (obviously) I keep getting the FB03 update notification and havent updated it yet. If there is anything i can do to help you along, let me know. If not I will just let it update.

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
Same here! +1
If there is any way you'd release a 0.29 version that is functional without the bells and whistles, it would be GREAT. I installed the ROM on my mother's phone last time I was home and it would be great to get it updated while I'm visiting her again. I'm around until the 14th and won't be back for a while; so I may have to reinstall stock.
THANKS THANKS THANKS for all the time and effort!Last edited by KeepingItCuttingEdge; 03-13-2012 at 03:28 PM.

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
As I told DMRLook in an email, I will be uploading a release candidate for us soon. He will be getting the Sprint (odexed + deodexed versions) and I will post a Boost Mobile version here (also odexed + deodexed versions). This will NOT be PhoeniX+. Releasing an RC version will give me the time to make the tutorials while I receive feedback. I expect to have a link by the end of the week. I'm sorry for all the delay, I recently signed up for the with my older brother to understand it a little better for the software we are working on for his business. I do promise to get the next release out to you guys, I've just been very busy lately with research and programming

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
I'm sorry guys, I had more computer trouble again.. I'm back to trying to finish the improved installer before uploading your release candidate. I suppose that's what I get for buying a "super computer" on a budget, but I really needed something to replace my laptop that broke when I started my college. I'll get to finding out exactly which piece is failing sooner or later, so sorry to keep you all waiting. I've always seemed to have horrible luck with computers even though it's all I'm good at.. ;P
Long story short, my blue screen of death streak seems to have stopped temporarily and I can try to hurry this up a bit! Thank goodness I've got an old server to back all this stuff up on once I finish..
Sorry I couldn't get to your question alwhite201, I'm glad to hear you found a solution.Last edited by firehak; 03-18-2012 at 05:33 AM. Reason: typo

Re: [ACS][ROM] PhoeniX ROM 0.2
Trying clearing that data for it or re-installing. Sometimes it gave me issues too, but clearing data or force stopping it would usually work.
A quick heads up, I just finished revising the new installer script which should now check to see if you formatted to ext4 already, and, if so, just wipe /cache and /data. If you haven't, it formats instead. Once I confirm the new installer to finish and boot, 0.3 RC will be packaged and uploaded
Once again, since DMRLook and I both own Sprint versions of the Replenish, there is no need for me to post a Sprint version. Sorry guys, but Boost gets the jump on this test
