Random shutdowns

Has anyone else gotten random shutdowns? Its happened quit a few times to me.

Running phoenix rom with kernel update 2.

i haven't had that, but i have had problems calling people and sending texts. i'll call and it sometimes just goes straight to voicemail, has this happened to anyone else? or when i send a text my phone says it didn't go through, when it really has. i dont know if this is normal or if something is wrong with my phone.

I experience the text issue sometimes, but I'm still running rooted stock EK18.

I've never had the text issues, however I have had the random shutdowns since I first got the phone. It happens to me perhaps once every 2 weeks or so.

The ranndom shutdowns have happend with all the Samsung phones I own.

This has been happening to me as well. I am currently running stock unrooted ek19. It has always happened to this phone but seems to happen more with gingerbread.

What about 3g taking forever to reconnect after wifi gets shut off??

I've had random shutdowns on stock froyo, gb, and in PhoeniX. It seems to be with Samsung's build, not the rom. Can't say I have any connection issues. I get connected near instantly both ways.

I have a few random shutdowns since the Fa19 update or whatever. it only happens when i have multple things running at once (Games while on the phone, while on twitter, market, facebook, texting.) my text issues only happens when someone calls me right when i hit the send key, but mine dosnt send so i have to re send it.

Yep, I have this as well as the random shutdowns. I'll go to the phone and it will be off. This is my first smartphone. Just what we needed, a telephone that's as tempramental as a computer! I do like it though even though it does not seem to be able to run any decent games and has little internal memory. But I have owned my ipod touch 4g for a while so this seems really clunky compared to that. But what do you expect for $80? My phone is bone stock on Boost mobile.
