Does the Stratosphere have universal search capability? What I'm after is the ability to use the voice command to launch an app. My wife and I both upgraded to this phone from the Pre+ (which had this feature, but not with voice command). I gotta say that we are loving the Statosphere going on the 2nd month with them. Since we are not power users, we are still finding new things everyday.

Search the market for an app called Vlingo. It lets you speak commands into the phone. You can make calls, send texts, open apps, and a number of other things. Its fairly close to Apple's Siri.

Just hold down (long press) the "search" key on the home screen (other places too i think) and the Android-built-in voice search ability will open. I think a tutorial will display the first time or you can always hit help in the future for a reminder of the voice search options.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Vlingo app and SpeaktoIT Personal Assistant both look like good possibilities.
