Re: Cracked Stratosphere Screen
$130 is extremely high for this, I have seen the kit for $69... If you are going to replace the LCD, you should change the digitizer as well, not individually. Honestly, for that money I would send it in to Samsung and get it repaired... It seems to me a user on Android Forums did this and the cost was $134 with shipping. If you could get the screen kit for around $70 or so then I would give it a go but I am not sure I would recommend it to others (I am a phone/network/computer technician by trade and have access to a clean room and tools). Also, check with your local Radio Shack, some of them do screen replacements onsite for $99-$149 for most phones. I would check this thread before dropping any cash.
Also, do you have the Asurion insurance? If so, $99 and you can get a refurb... I always get it on every phone.Last edited by acejavelin; 11-25-2012 at 10:58 AM.
