Lurking about here has helped me solved quite a few problems with my wife's phone but this one is driving her crazy.
She'll get a text from someone. She'll start to respond. Then the person sending sends another, and her keyboard locks up. Sometimes when the incoming texts finally stop she can go on typing. Sometimes the messaging app just crashes and she has to start over.
This is the only app where she has that issue; keyboard works fine everywhere else. It started happening a few months ago. Her best friend tends to send her long strings of texts at a time so it's a regular problem.
I've soft-reset her phone, cleared caches, etc. Haven't factory reset it yet but that's the next step if nothing else presents itself. Any suggestions?
