thanks, I wiped everything..cache, dalvik, and factory reset and it still didn't work. I just tried to install cm6 and it has the same error. if it makes a difference, i used rom manager to go from clockwork to Amon RA because it was needed for the stock unlock in fresh

I thought I made a nand backup with rom manager but I must have done something wrong because it says it can't find it. I wiped cache/dalvik and tried reflashing again but the same thing happens. Is there something else to wipe? Will trying to install an entirely different rom fix it? thanks!

I was doing so well...I rooted and successfully installed fresh evo 3.5.0.1. Then I wanted the stock lockscreen so I downloaded it from fresh updater but it didn't work so I thought I would just flash the zip like I flashed the rom...apparently that wasn't good. Upon reboot it just keeps looping...

I also just used unrevoked, took less than 10 minutes and really was painless!

Thanks, I just got the phone last week so I'm still well in my 30 day return period. I actually got the phone from Radio Shack though. Should I take it to Sprint to look at it or just go ahead and exchange it at RS?
