I just received the VZW OTA Update, I am trying to root again and can't seem to do so. I flash CWM and it stays stuck on the SAMSUNG screen. Is 2.3.6 even able to be rooted yet?

Got flashed back to stock and am currently installing the OTA, am near half way through the install. My Charge is no longer being found by my PC, I have used ODIN and also just flash directly from PC file manager to the droid and things worked successfully. I need to flash stock ROM, kernel, and etc... and cannot get ODIN to work, WHAT IS GOING ON?

Things could run faster and screen could reload faster when going back to home. Can I just drop ROM and kernel from recovery or do I need to Flash stock through Odin? Or whatever method it get takes I will have to research that bc I've never went back to stock.

I have successfully rooted flashed CWM and voodoo, I am still running stock ROM and playing with different Launchers off the market. None of these change the lame notification bar and I HATE the ugly green SMS notification what can I do to alter the notification bar?
