Google assistant when making voice calls now defaults to using speaker phone. Also I was instructed to uninstall the updates to the Google app to see if it cleared up the problem. It did so I reinstalled to the latest update and it's back to defaulting to speaker phone so I assume they will fix...

I have the HTC U11 and I had to uninstall the updates to the Google app for a different problem. I have since reinstalled to the latest version of the Google app beta, the same version I previously uninstalled. Now I no longer have the 3 dot settings to the right of the mic image on the search...

Just wondering if the audio from the internal speakers sound more balanced than before? I swear in theater mode it is now more stereo than before.

Help out fellow U11 owners with anything you found, good, bad, new or different than the previous OS version.

I have tried everything I can think of with no luck. It's irritating to see that number on there all the time.

Open the phone app. Go to the history tab. Tap on one of the phone numbers, not the contact picture on the left, and see if it automatically dials that number or if you have to tap the call button also. Thanks in advance.

Or do you wish you had ordered a different color. I'm a little mixed on the red myself.

As of today when I tap one of the numbers in the call history tab it no longer automatically calls that number. I now have to tap call as well. How do I set it back to automatically call. Any help would be appreciated.

I kinda like the live wallpaper that came on the phone but wish there was more than one. Any place get get more that work with the U11?

Did HTC change the dialer? In the window that displays the contact picture it shows the picture during a call but when not in a call it shows a few calls from history. How do I get it to show the contact picture all the time?

It will give us 1080p 60 fps video recording. I have no idea when.

I don't understand why WiFi calling is controlled by the carrier. Why won't it just work if I have WiFi signal? Is there really a reason or are they just screwing us? I know you can use other apps to make calls using WiFi but why can't the phone app on the phone just do this without the hassle...
