I actually did choose the Edge at first. Just got back from the T-Mo where I traded for a 64GB regular S6 though. Much better in-hand feel and twice the storage for $20 less? Definitely the right choice.

I much prefer the look and feel of the black over the white.

I haven't used a custom ROM in over a year now. I stick with stock but also root and use tools like Xposed. It's super fast, easy, and gives me all the features of custom ROMs while keeping the ability to get official OTA updates.

Re: Quick Poll M8 or N5 I just don't think it's worth the upgrade. Mostly because the camera seems to be not much of an improvement (if any) over the Nexus 5.

Re: HTC ONE M8 waterproof ? show video put in water? If HTC didn't say it was water-resistant during the event, then it probably isn't. That's a feature that's definitely worth mentioning.

Re: M8 Camera The screen, speakers, and the rest of the device looks pretty great. The camera was the big thing I was looking for though. I guess I'm sticking with my Nexus 5 for a little while longer!

Re: M8 Camera All of the reviews I've read so far point out the poor quality of the camera. Some even saying the Nexus 5 takes better pics. Really killed my excitement for this device and I don't know if I'll buy one now.

I dunno about that. The official press release even says "available to purchase online and in retail stores starting next month".

Shame that T-Mobile is the only big US carrier that isn't getting the M8 today. Looks like it's going to be a couple weeks.

Re: HTC One 2: The Bezel At first, I hated that black bar. People have been complaining about it so much that I don't care about it being there anymore. Really, it's a non-issue. Pretty bored even talking about it now. lol

Re: What is your favorite ROM? I tried Pananoid Android, AOKP, and CM11 before giving up on them and going back to stock. Decided to give Xposed Framework and Gravitybox a try and I couldn't be happier. :D

The volume controls on my Nokia headphones work perfectly with my Nexus 5.

UPS has always been super reliable for me. I get a few packages a month and they've never missed a delivery date. They've even been a day or two early before. Love those guys!

Just running the stock ROM with root. I don't bother with custom ROMs anymore since there's anyways something wrong with them. I really appreciate the work that those devs do, but I'm more interested in stability these days. Plus, stock Android is really good now! :)

I have no way to know if my buttons will fall apart in a few months. If that does happen though, I still have a long time on my warranty to get a replacement.
