Thanks for your response. I figured it out after a factory reset, unfortunately. It was an app called Perch (home security app) causing the problem. After a few days of running perfect the problem returned after I reinstalled it... went away when I uninstalled. Posted via the Android Central App

I've wondered that too... Tapping the caps key works for me.

I don't recall any updates after the 4.4.2 stock update. When you uninstall the newest update from the play store, it will roll it back to the original included in 4.4.2. Posted via Android Central App

Why not just uninstall the new camera update and roll back to the old one? That's what I did after giving it a try, and decided I liked the old one better. Posted via Android Central App
