After updating to the stock froyo, (also have now flashed to the debloated froyo release).... the phone automatically starts downloading every app i have every downloaded from the market place. Has anyone else seen this? Kind of a pain, There are apps I no longer use or had uninstalled that...

I had this problem too after renaming. I got around it by removing spaces and dots "." from the new file name. Don't know if that is the problem your having, but it seems that whenever you use a space or dot in the new name, you get the md5 mismatch error......I haven't had any more md5...
