Similar to Phoneguy - mine gets warm when charging, especially on the Samsung "fast charge" cable. Otherwise, not so much. But I should put in a disclaimer that I am a light phone user and normally don't have something constantly going on it.

This is pretty much standard with any development patch release. It will fix some things, but create new issues in the process.
