New xl, Feb patch & 7.1.1?

Just got a brand new unlocked pixel XL (uk) yesterday, however it is still on February security and 7.1.1. System says up to date. Chatted with Google support but the guy sounded like he didn't even know different between security and os update and got an email saying it could take couple weeks...

Looking into buying an OnePlus 3T.

I wasn't the one who said it was fuzzy! I went from op3 to 6p and the screen is quite a bit better on the 6p, everything else is better on op3. The op3t for the price is no brainer if you ask me.

Looking into buying an OnePlus 3T.

This, op3t screen even though 1080p is pentile is not as sharp as 1080p LCD. It's still a good display but if you come from 1440p or it's next to an LCD you'll see the difference. Probably the only thing oneplus cheaped out on this phone.

GSMArena full review of OnePlus 3

I've had the op3 for 5 days and It's a really good phone in almost every way but I just didn't like the screen, I have a moto x style and that screen is much better in ever way to my eyes, I prefer LCD over amoled as well. If screen isn't your first priority then the op3 is a great phone, very...

Display criticism sends OnePlus CEO on a rant

As said there is nothing wrong with 1080p, I think the Nexus 7 2013 has an excellent display and that's 7". It's the pentile and the way the colours look on the op3 that just doesn't look right to me, next to my moto x style the moto is a little warmer but everything else is clearly better. But...

Display criticism sends OnePlus CEO on a rant

I've had the op3 couple days now and I've had a moto x style/pure for few months. The op3 screen is ok in my opinion, but something isn't quite right. The whites aren't quite right, text just didn't look right, looks a little fuzzy maybe due to the pentile screen. Side by side with moto the moto...

Update to Marshmallow Moto X Play

Impatiently waiting here in uk, is performance noticeable better as in animations and multi tasking? Posted via the Android Central App

    Any regrets?

Then there is something wrong with the phone or rogue app. You should be getting easily over a day battery life. Posted via the Android Central App

    Any regrets?

Had mine 3 days and no regrets. I had nexus 5x and while it is excellent on marshmallow it just feels to cheap and plastic and big for a 5.2" screen. I only paid £200 for the play on recent Amazon deal and for that price you won't get any better in my opinion. Great screen, although plastic...

When are they going to make the next version of the Nexus 7?

Definitely still worth getting, lollipop was a disaster for it on battery life (on my unit anyway) and I barely used it. But then came marshmallow and its like a brand new up to date tablet, great battery life and extremely smooth and fluid. They are cheap to buy new and there isn't really any...

Thinking of moving from moto x style, screen doubt though!

I just got a moto x style last week and although I love almost everything about the device it isn't the smoothest if I'm being honest, and with recent Motorola update story's can they be trusted under lenovo? Anyway the nexus 6 is a really good price and I like the size and stock android but is...

Are u flashing roms or waiting for 6.0

I agree with john, I came from oneplus one running stock cm12 which was the smoothest phone I have to say I've had no lags or stutter anywhere in ui. My moto x style is not as smooth and there is stutter in app opening and sometimes going through settings menu. Pretty disappointing and I'm...

Looking for a sober accessment of the Marshmellow upgrade on the Nexus 7 2013

5.1 was fine on my n7 2013 apart from battery life, I flashed marshmallow soon as the image was up. Been 3 days now and first thing I'll say is battery life has improved so much, when on standby it barely drains but screen on time has improved a lot to. Haven't found any bugs and runs very fast...

    Nexus Nine price drop?

I just bought a new n9 for £180 here in uk and its going straight back tomorrow, terrible light bleed and buttons are awful even though I have aug 15 build, so much for revised buttons and better screens after initial run. Posted via the Android Central App

    Just bought n9, knew I shouldn't.

So with the price of the nexus 9 only £180 at Argos UK and reading about the early button and screen issues fixed with later models thought all would be good but no. My serial number build is Aug 15 but soon as i powered it on the light bleed all round the screen was terrible, the power and...

Is the Nexus 6 still a great phone to buy?

It's a great phone if you prefer a warm screen, going by other comments most 6's screens will have yellow whites it's the older amoled panel Samsung provided apparently. If it was an IPS LCD I would certainly still have one. Posted via the Android Central App

Is the Nexus 6 still a great phone to buy?

Yeah my unit might have been part of a run that wasn't great. Other than that the phone is great, I also had developer 3 marshmallow and it ran amazing. Posted via the Android Central App
