[ROM+Kernel] Inferior Human Organs unofficial CM7.1

I know on stock, unless you specifically turn off 3G it will stay open in the background when WiFi is on because I was able to download MMS even when WiFi was on because I also left the 3G running and the 3G would pick up the message. I do not know specifically the case with CM7 as CM is a...

[ROM+Kernel] Inferior Human Organs unofficial CM7.1

Not a CM7 issue. On any phone with any ROM, you must have 3G enabled in order to download MMS because the messages are coming from the network. Do you disable 3G when you have wifi enabled?

[ROM+Kernel] Inferior Human Organs unofficial CM7.1

See, I knew as soon as I took the plunge and converted to IHO & got everything set up the way I wanted you'd post a new update. hahaha. I have my windows animations turned off so I probably wouldn't notice a change so I'm gonna stick with the 9/22 build for now. But i do want you to know that...

[ROM+Kernel] Inferior Human Organs unofficial CM7.1

I was a very loyal BumbleBee user until today, although I still have it in my DH's phone because he's not a techie in the least so doesn't really care as long as his phone works when he needs it to. With BB now unsupported I decided to go ahead and try IHO. I chose mrg666's MIRAGE version and...

If you do a data reset, do it from within recovery. Never use the factory reset in the phone's settings menu because it does not jibe with custom recoveries. Always reset through your recovery menu if you do so.

I have had issues with Google Music. What I had to do was uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and reboot , then it sync'd.

Cachemate does not interfere with the cache partition. The application cache and the cache partition on your phone are two different animals. Apps such as Cachemate clear the application caches, it does not touch the cache partition so you will not have to reboot & rebuild the dalvik each time...

Because this ROM incorporates the dalvik-to-cache tweak, if you wipe the cache partition, it will wipe the cache AND the dalvik cache so no need to separately wipe the dalvik. So to answer your question, in recovery you want to select /cache under the wipe options.

I actually went back to using zachxtr's 50fix utility at boot and I did not have to reboot at all yesterday (and yes, I have to reboot because toggling does not bring back my connection). I figured that the excessive battery drain was attributed in part to the data polling during drops. I...

Since the TWOS fix in the ROM, I've been noticing data dropping much more frequently. I have to reboot at least twice a day if not more which could account for the lessened battery life. The TWOS may not be the cause of more frequent data drops, just expressing a correlation between the...

I, too, have notice a decrease in battery life. I did a full charge & wiped the battery stats so will see how it does over the next few days as it readjusts. I've also noticed, since the TWOS fix, that I'm dropping data more frequently. Not sure if that is a cause, just expressing a...

After you do a fresh install, completely wiped and clean, install Apps Organizer fresh as well, prior to restoring anything or changing anything and see if you still have the FC issue.

Help! lg optimus v brick and cant access recovery mode

To get to recovery manually, I believe you hold down the home button and volume up buttons while pressing the power button. You release the home & volume up buttons after the LG logo has loaded. As for your issues in general, it may be helpful if you provided some background. Is this a new...

This is true, however, as with the updated market, he could replace the googlesearchbox.apk with the updated one from the market and rename in /system/app. Same with voice search. But yes, having them removed from /system/app, even if downloaded to /data/app, will break the functionality tied...
