Root alone doesn't give apps access to ex sdcard. You now (due to root access) can change the permissions to your liking.

Just use Greenify and Greenify the damn thing. Problem solved.

It's due to the screen timeout function. Just download any "keep screen on" app, or use power toggels "always awake screen on wakelock function" .

Not a fix, but a work around that almost completely hides this problem. Install Screen adjuster from Play Store. Set to autostart on boot, set RGB values to +5/+5/+5. Nothing else. Done!
