Yeah new sim card sorted the problem out, not a fault of the phone. ;)

Yeah both on EE both same handsets except hers is the white one, swapped sims and done the same on her phone but mine was fine with her sim in. Has to be something on the sim card.

Think I've sussed it. Not actually the handset's fault or the update as much. I think it is the sim card. I tried my wife's sim in my phone and it went back to normal and mine in hers and the problem showed up on her handset. Same phone same update etc. So I'm gonna request a new sim and...

Well that totally sucks. Never mind.

Anyone had this problem with their Galaxy s3? The @@@@@@@@@@@@@ signs at the bottom are annoying. :( Seeing as they aren't rolling any updates out does anyone have a fix for this.
