Look for the application Superuser among your apps list. If it's not there, you're probably not rooted.

Be careful with the Infinity ROM. You'll lose Swype, and I can find no way to get the .apk file to re-load it. I also lost all the Amazon free-for-a-day apps that I had. I'm not glad that I rooted; more problems and no real solutions.
