    Storage Settings and Get More Space. The former just displays the attached screen. The latter just displays large files and files that haven't been used for 6 months.

    I do use an SD card. The only data on my phone is data that can't be stored on an SD card, such as WhatsApp images etc.

    I back up using Smartswitch, then I take it into a Samsung-approved shop to get it flashed, then I restore using Smartswitch. As I say it has always resolved the problems I described above in the past. It's not a matter of clearing cache.

    It's quite common for phones and PCs to gradually accumlate junk over time and stop operating normally and have to be flashed. In case of phone. I know loads of people who've had to flash their phone. Typical symptoms are battery life shortening, perfomance reduction, media players suddenly...

    I do accept that it doesn't have the latest features as long as it works at all. Same with my much older laptop which has no problem running Windows 10.

    That's not an option unless you're offering to pay. Plus I object strongly on principle to built-in obsolescance. My laptop model was released in 2013 and it works fine with Windows 10. The S7 was released in 2016. It's immoral and extremely damaging to the environment for an expensive phone...

    As far as I can see that only allows you to play music that is in the Apple iTunes store, not music that is on your phone.

    Samsung's built in media player used to display the text in the Comments tag, but they've discontinued the product. I can't find any Android media player that does display the text in the Comments tag. Is there one? I have used that tag for many years to add info about or lyrics for my tracks...
