Oh ok, There should be a "Camera Select" button on the main options screen. If the button is not there then the app is only detecting one (or possibly no cameras) which could mean an issue on my end or a permissions issue.
Thanks again for the help.
So was the camera in the list of available cameras but it's just not displaying it to the screen? If so then that's a shame. I have no good way of testing this so I was hoping it would just work.
Most phones I've tested on simply list
"Camera 1
Camera 2"
With 1 being the rear camera and 2...

I think I finally found a solution that seems to be having some effect. On any negative reviews that claim the app is not working I have been replying "for customer support please contact us by email". In almost every case that I did that, they did email me in which case I can better explain the...
We have just released our latest game Shadō to the Google Play store.
It's modernized take on the classic "snake" game genre featuring dynamic shadows and a minimalist design.

I have done something similar in Unity using WebcamTexture to render the front and rear camera to 2 different textures.
You can use a standard USB webcam on an android phone with an OTG adapter. But I can tell you from experience though that getting an external OTG webcam to work is a pain...
Thanks for the suggestions, I have tried all those things and nothing really seems to help. I do have a first time pop up that you have to agree to before using that app which states that they understand that the app is just a simulation yet people still leave negative saying it's not real, or...

developers.appbrain.com - Apptimizer (at bottom under Developer services) ->Presentation. See how your...

There's also the Pre-launch report under Release Management on the Google Play Console. They run it on a bunch of devices and give crash/preformance reports, screenshots, etc... Probably on of the...

That's one thing that I have tried but not a single person changed the review or rating afterwards. I'm guessing that users don't get any kind of notification if someone comments on their review...or they just don't care.
A couple of years ago I made an app designed for the DIY and Maker types to build their own night vision goggles with a Google Cardboard headset.
The app description clearly says that the app requires an infrared light source and may require a modification to your phone. The first image even...

The original intention is for DIY types who want to make their own working Night Vision Goggles but I was careful to add 'Simulated' to the description for...
Hello,
I'm looking for someone who wouldn't mind testing my app to help troubleshoot a device specific bug. It works on all the devices I've tested on but I've have a negative review from a Galaxy S5 user saying it's not working for them. I think I may have a fix and need someone to help test...
Having to hold it is by design. Most phones can't track the movement as fast as people can move their head, which can cause disorientation in some people. Having people hold it to their face makes them turn mostly with their back, which is slower.
