Re: Android OS battery drain after 5.1.1 update This post actually helped me a lot. I went into settings and deselected the option to let Google give away browsing history to ads. The Android OS was using 8% battery, but now it uses 6%. It's a start and hopefully my Nexus 7 will last longer...
