has anyone else noticed any issues with text messaging after installing android 13, specifically while on LTE? i never has a single issue with it and now im getting constant requests to send logs to google when a text takes forever to send. my phone is stock google and not rooted. its annoying af.

so according to tmonews, tmo is sending Android 10 to the G7 and V40. I fired up my G7 (pixel 4xl is my DD now) to set if it gets updated. It downloaded 2 security updates but then installed Android 10

i am glad they are replacing it, but it seems like just replacing the motherboard and/or re seating the battery would have fixed the problem. bottom line is that ill have a fully working phone (i hope). the 6p issue was that it sat in a constant boot loop if i recall.

got the update on my unlocked p4xl on tmo this morning.

my unlocked 4xl is also on tmo, but not update yet.

if i could consistently reproduce it, i would put it in safe mode to troubleshoot. sadly it seems to be completely random with no common thing preceding the shutdown. it will be fine for days and then shut down multiple times in a day.

well if the story posted by ac is any indication, we might see android 10 on the g7 by the end of the year.

I havent tried putting it in safe mode yet. i will get to that at some point, just havent yet. i think the whole thing started with the jan security update.
